Independent Living Officer (Standby) Locations: York Salary: £10.50 per hour We are a charitable housing association that owns and manages more than 18,000 homes – and developing thousands more – across Yorkshire. We are currently seeking a Independent Living Off (Standby) to be based at Osbaldwick, York on a Temporary contract until 31 March 2019 for zero hours per week. The main purpose of this role is to provide a high quality personalised support service to customers, promoting independence and choice. As a Standby Independent Living Officer you will provide evening, night time, weekend and bank holiday cover for the out of hours 24 hour emergency alarm. As part of the Independent Living Officer service you will be responding to emergency call outs to sites throughout the relevant zone and visiting individuals in their homes who require assistance. You will also cover in agreed daytime hours for independent Living Officer training and annual leave. Please note that successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check. A full UK driving license with access to a vehicle is essential for this post.
