We are looking for an experienced and versatile Office manager/Director’s assistant for our busy office based in Fulham/Putney Bridge.
This is an excellent position for someone with good all-round office skills, a professional attitude and excellent communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities will include
- general admin / secretarial duties
- dealing with queries efficiently and courteously from parents, schools staff and teachers
- liaising on a day-to-day basis with parents
- dealing with payments and invoices
- organising the teachers' timetables
- accounting & HR duties
- organising events
- liaising with venues
The successful person should have relevant, demonstrable office experience, good computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Office and accounting softwares. Excellent communication skills are also required for this position.
Candidates need to be fluent in English at a native level with excellent writing skills and have a good knowledge of French (good reading and oral comprehension skills essential, writing and oral fluency is a plus but not essential).
You will be working with a small, friendly team so the ability to multitask and prioritise is essential.
Experience in accounting and HR needed, as there will be related duties. Experience within education is ideal but not essential.
Start date: 27th August 2019. Ideally you will be available some time in July for training purposes.
Conditions: This is a permanent opportunity. 35hrs/week, Monday to Friday, including out of office on call hours for emergency. Salary £22,000 to £25,000pa depending on experience.
There is some flexibility around this position for full time/part time. Suitable for self-employed as well.
