Monitor and audit domestic, patient dining, portering, pest control, and window cleaning services Trust wide to provide evidence of contract performance, and effectively measure this performance against the contract indicators.
Ensure that the services contract team comply with the quality and standards as detailed within the specification, policies and standard operating procedures and meet the specified service outcomes.
Work flexibly ensuring that audit plans are in place, regularly reviewed and updated and that key actions and work is progressed, either individually or by the relevant team member.
Interpret national standards relating to facilities services and support the Facilities Management team in setting standards accordingly in liaison with operation and clinical managers.
Have a clear understanding of the audit process and to generally contribute to the promotion of audit and quality improvement within the organisation.
Provide advice and reports to the relevant internal and external committees/meetings/forums and facilities issues.
Reporting maintenance and building defects that impairs the delivery of the contractor's services when seen.
The successful candidate will need to have:
Previous NHS experience within Facilities
Highly developed communication skills both written and oral.
Ability to work within and manage a diverse group.
Ability to undertake and implement change.
Ability to make complex and sound decisions under pressure and prioritise tasks as appropriate.
Ability to function calmly in a crisis and negotiate hostile/conflict situations.
Minimum English Language and Mathematics O' Level or GCSE equivalent.
If successful, you will receive a competitive hourly rate equivalent of up to £27,000 paid weekly and immediate start available.
Your role as an NHS Facilities Coordinator will be to work flexibly ensuring that audit plans are agreed, carried out, regularly reviewed, updated, and compiled into contract performance compliance reports. You will also be responsible for monitoring the maintenance work for 3 hospitals based in West London.
