We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technician in Motor Vehicles to join our team based in Trowbridge on a full-time basis. The main purpose of this role is to support your area by working with staff and students in the workshop environment, ensuring equipment and resources are available to support student learning. Within this role your main responsibilities will include giving demonstrations in the use of equipment, materials and techniques, assisting in the preparation of teaching materials, setting up and dismantling workshop assessments and ensuring that equipment is in working order ready for learning sessions. You will also be expected to maintain and keep up to date inventories and records of equipment and materials, provide technical support to students and keep workshops and ancillary areas clean and in a fit and safe condition for use. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 or above in Motor Vehicle. You will have recent relevant experience of the Motor Vehicle industry.
