About the Job
The duties include the following items: Has basic knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area. Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work. Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. Complete job assignments in a timely manner. Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading. Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures. Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
Requirements:
You will be time served in a relevant discipline (with trade papers or an equivalent mechanical qualification) with mechanical experience and an understanding of technical manuals, blueprints, inspection and working to ISO quality standards, ideally within the aerospace industry.
Experience of composite repairs, fastener installation or engine build up experience including detailed measurement and torqueing applications would be highly beneficial.
