Sales Coach- SMN
The purpose of the role is to increase the skill levels, knowledge and performance for all of the telemarketing/Sales Development Reps in the UK and Europe through 1-1 coaching, call listening and group training sessions. We have grown incredibly fast over the last few years, now we have 27 people for the UK and France and we are expanding into new markets.
This is a hands-on position where your visibility and presence within the team will be felt- you have the opportunity to make a big impact to our success.
This is a varied role where you will be required to deliver classroom style training, one to one coaching and in role support. You will be encouraged to introduce your own ideas and expected to work both strategically and creatively.
Reports to the Market Development Director
Support all new starters from their first day in the office all through their onboarding period to a point where they are successfully delivering against a full target. This will involve holding training sessions, 1-1 call listening, role plays & knowledge sharing.
You will need to be quick to adapt to the different training needs of each individual, each person might require a slightly different path and it is your responsibility to identify this and change their training plan as required.
You will be required to report back to the leadership team on progress, gaps and coaching plans. We want to ensure we have a great start for all new recruits and you will play a pivotal role in this.
Work with the Leadership team to identify those who require support. This generally might include those who are ‘middle’ performers who with a little extra support could become our top performers. The approach taken will be discussed and agreed with the leadership team, it can include regular call listening, spot check on activities to identify gaps and or 1-1/group training sessions. The training session content might need to be created by you so experience creating training material is important.
You will be expected to document coaching actions and progress for the individuals you support. You will have a weekly catch up with the leadership team to share progress and recommend new ideas.
Over time the expectation is that you are a subject expert in the SDR team on prospecting. It is important you are proactive to upskill yourself on areas of best practices consistently to ensure your on top of trends and can have lots of great techniques to refer to.
When we run quartley and annually training events for the team, you will be expected to take a big role in the organsation, planning and creating the content with the Leadership team.
Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Prior experience or involvement in: Sales Training and or SDR Training
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team of individuals to achieve phenomenal results.
- Must be a highly-motivated “self-starter” with excellent verbal communication skills.
