ARK is a blockchain technology provider seeking someone to help drive our marketing efforts across two key audiences (Users and Developers). You will share responsibility for creating and executingmarketing strategies and campaigns to drive acquisition, engagement and retention of these audiences.
You should be skilled at B2C marketing (and ideally have experience in B2D marketing) –utilising the full channel mix of content, email, SEO, PPC, landing pages, PR, social/influencer and brand to develop and execute campaigns.
You’ll also be strategic and analytical, following marketing best practice and reviewing data from campaigns to inform future outreach. The goal is to grow the user base of our key products, increase engagement with developers and to build awareness of our brand; as well as putting strategies in place to retain users across our entire ecosystem.
- Working closely with senior management for the on-going development of the marketing, brand and communications strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of the ARK user and developer communities and identify opportunities to grow, engage and retain these audience
- Create, manage and experiment with new user/developer acquisition campaigns that increase engagement and generate new users/developers for the ARK Ecosystem
- Implement solid product marketing strategies to launch new products and promote the adoption and usage of these new products
- Help Implement and manage both digital & content strategies
- Use analytics/data to measure success and improve performance
- Build relationships with key influencers in the blockchain and crypto space to increase brand awareness and brand engagement
- Operate in the broader communications team as the marketing go-to, offering advice and suggestions across the entire organisation
- Be able to utilise the full mix to develop and executeacquisition campaigns – includes writing content, ensuring SEO best practice, creating PPC campaigns, creating web assets, generating emails, reaching our to influencers etc (you will have internal support from the broader team).
- Create briefs for members of the internal team when you need their expertise including the in-house videographer, designer, web developer etc.
- Manage agencies when necessary.
- 4+ years of B2C marketing experience in the technology sector (with a solid track record of user acquisition, retention and product marketing)
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, or equivalent professional marketing qualification (CIM)
- Extensive experience and understanding of digital marketing channels and methods
- Experience of go-to-market campaigns and product launches
- Background or interest in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space
- Strategic mindset
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- The ambition to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience of marketing to developers, marketing open source products, or to open source communities is highly desirable
