Senior Consumer Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and implementing M.A.C UK Ireland consumer engagement strategy to drive recruitment, engagement and conversion through an integrated full funnel approach. Further develop and optimize current channels whilst identifying new opportunities to further recruit, engage and convert new and existing consumers.
Budget Management: Fully accountable and responsible for Media advertising, Social Media, Content and CRM Budget Management
Leadership: Directly leading 3 key areas: media advertising social media, CRM loyalty programs, Content strategy management development the Senior Consumer Marketing Manager drives marketing integration and consistency throughout M.A.C Ecosystem improving marketing efficiency and effectiveness to drive short term sales and medium to long term brand advocacy.
Consumer centric and data driven he/she is responsible for providing M.A.C target audience with consistent and relevant user experiences across the Brand media channels. Building on learnings identified through insight into consumer needs and behavior.
Capabilities building: Together with the Marketing director defines Consumer engagement objectives, build capabilities framework and execute on plans to best support business strategic objectives
Team Management: Manages a team of 6 incl. 3 direct reports: Social Media and advertising Manager, CRM assistant Manager, Content Manager
This is a key strategic role that engages with a number of stakeholders based in different locations (regional counterparts: NOAM, EMEA, APAC and LATAM as well as Global team)
Key Roles Responsibilities
-Define and implement Consumer Engagement Strategy to recruit, increase engagement, retain existing customers and convert.
-Build team capabilities in order to support this strategy and ensure sustainability and create value for the business
-Lead and manage M.A.C media advertising strategy, driving fully integrated campaigns bringing to life and further growing M.A.C Ecosystem, delivering a consistent consumer experience (through the funnel as well as across Bought, Owned and Earned media channels).
-Manage media and creative agencies effectively in order to maximize ROI and value created for the business through media investment.
-Further define and lead M.A.C Consumer Life cycle strategy, building customer loyalty through efficient CRM and loyalty programs.
-Define and manage Social Media strategy to position M.A.C UKIR as a leading and innovative brand on these channel. Further building the Brand’s communities, encouraging social sharing, identifying new opportunities to increase reach and engagement. Work in close collaboration and further develop existing partnership with key social media platforms to optimize current plans as well as drive innovation (through test and learn approach)
-Define and implement UK Ireland regional Content Strategy to increase consumer engagement and interaction.
-Ensure seamless integration between Global and local plans. Drive adaptation of Global offering (campaigns, content…) into local plans and execution. Maximize utilization of global content as well as drive execution of local assets whenever relevant.
-Ensure effective leverage of existing content as well as identifying opportunities to create relevant content and experiences/campaigns to engage further with the targeted audience.
-Team leadership and management: Lead and manage a team of 6. This includes 3 direct reports: Media Advertising and social media Manager, Content Manager, CRM assistant manager-
-Budget Management: Fully accountable and responsible for Media advertising, Social Media, Content and CRM Budget Management
-Available immediately for a fixed term contract of up to 9months
-Solid senior work experience in a digital and social media environment
-Social media strategy experience
-Content strategy experience
-Media planning experience
-Must have strong communication and negotiation skills and be able to work with many stakeholders, both internal and external
-Creative and enjoys working in fast-paced environment
-Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible and able to handle multitude of projects at one time.
