Job overview / purpose
We are looking for a new apprentice to join our Service Portfolio and Innovation team.
The apprentice will have the opportunity to participate in Offering development, building skills in business analysis, automation and software development. They will learn from the existing teams and work with new technologies to help us to develop Fujitsu’s future capabilities.
Along with their day-to-day role and on the job training, the apprentice will study towards a Level 3 Business and Administration Apprenticeship with QA Apprenticeships.
• Maintenance of the team SharePoint site including branding and content
• Demonstration to sales
• Business Analysis
• Software Development
• Automation Development
The apprentice will have exposure to Automation Technologies, Intelligent Automation coupled with cognitive learning, Artificial Intelligence and robotic process automation.
During their apprenticeship the apprentice will gain skills in presenting, SharePoint skills, ITIL Overview, Business Analysis, Document Writing and Software Development.
In their first 12 months with us, the apprentice will aim to:
• Understand the challenges of Digital Transformation
• Understand and then apply principles of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Gain a basic understanding of architectural and/or business analysis frameworks
• Build relationships with key IT and business stakeholders
The successful candidate will have an aspiration to work in IT and learn some new and exciting technologies. They will have the willingness to work hard and happy to communicate with senior members both in Fujitsu and on our accounts.
Specific skills include:
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Basic understanding or interest in IT/Software Development
• Basic understanding of graphic design
Please note that travel may be required for this role, but travel to other sites other than your base location will be reimbursed.
3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C including Maths plus GCSE English (or equivalent) at grade D or above.

£17,500 per annum
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
