Opportunities have arisen at Fareham College’s engineering facility (CEMAST) at Lee-on-the-Solent working within a very successful Engineering curriculum area. We are looking for a Course Team Leader / Lecturer with recent industrial experience in the following disciplines: Motor Vehicle Marine Manufacturing Mechanical Aeronautical Applicants will be required to deliver a range of courses that extend from Workshop and classroom activities from level 2. Ideally, in addition to holding a suitable teaching qualification you will be educated to degree level, or have served a formal engineering apprenticeship with relevant experience. You should also have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage and inspire young people aged 16-19. You will either possess or be willing to achieve an advanced level teaching qualification, which will be supported financially in full by the college. Based at the College’s recently built £12 million CEMAST Centre in Lee-on-the-Solent which comprises state of the art engineering workshops, teaching classrooms, a learning resource centre, reception and associated facilities, the successful candidate will be a member of a team of over 40 academic and business support staff specialising in engineering and manufacturing.
