We are looking for an outstanding, innovative and inspirational experienced lecturer who will be part of the Electrical team to build upon the achievements and strengths of the college and share their outstanding teaching knowledge to further raise the standards and reputation of the college.
We have a successful and expanding Electrical Installation Department and are looking for a talented individual within the traditional electrical. This new role is an opportunity to create and deliver unique Electrical units within the program offered including off the job training and assessment for Electrical apprentices. It is a real opportunity for you to inspire learners and prepare them for employment or further study having been provided with the skills and technical knowledge you will bring with you.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum level 3 qualification in the relevant subject area and a teaching qualification. Experience of teaching Electrical subjects in a school, FE college or training provider is essential.
West Lancashire College delivers a range of learning programmes across vocational areas, adults, community and apprenticeships in order to provide learners with new skills, qualifications and improve their chances of progression into Higher Education and sustainable employment.
The Electrical Lecturer will assess, tutor and support learners to progress, develop and achieve the appropriate level in Electrical Installation, a key part of the role is working with the English and Maths delivery team and other college areas to provide an outstanding learner experience.
