0.6 FTE / 21.6 Hours per week – up to 12 months Maternity Cover
Kingston College is currently organised into three schools.This position lies within the school of Commercial Industries and Access. This post will sit within the Health & Social Care curriculum area with teaching across a wide range of levels including Level 2 & 3 BTEC’s as well as Level 4 & 5 HNC/D.
Your focus within this role is to teach courses across a range of levels, becoming a personal tutor on the Health & Social Care courses. These courses are predominately coursework based and therefore we are looking to recruit an innovative practitioner to design engaging coursework assignments that inspire learners, with the key aim for all our teaching roles to ensure that the students meet and exceed their target grades.
This role is about providing a high-quality student experience and outstanding outcomes in Health & Social Care. The role encompasses working on teaching schemes, assessment schedules (including coursework) and student monitoring.

With a Degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject, you will have excellent teaching skills and the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners including monitoring their progress. Hardworking and flexible, you will have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and be able to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines.
