Job Role: Head of Professional Development (digital content - Fund Management arena)

Salary: £47,000 to £57,000 (DOE) plus discretionary bonus

We want you because you have experience of designing learning architecture, instructional design or delivering education or training products in a professional and localised context combined with an understanding of professional education and training and an ability to design and implement a holistic product design.
You'll likely be, or have experience of being a trainer/lecturer or learning and development specialist with practice experience working as such, or directly, within a Fund Management or Fund Administration environment.
In these roles you will need to be a true SME therefore you will need practice experience in your area of thematic responsibility combined with a relevant qualification(s) and an understanding of the education framework.

Main Purpose of Role
As the Head of Professional Development , you will manage a small team and be responsible for the planning, delivery and in-life optimization of your existing and new thematic products and the product roadmap in conjunction with the overall commercial business strategy.
You will be translating business strategy into an education and product strategy, developing and owning the EdTech roadmap, working with Product Assistants and SMEs to design the curriculum for our programmes, including formulating learning outcomes and recommending appropriate mediums for content delivery and assessment.
You will also be responsible for ensuring CLTI has a wide internal and external network of SMEs, tutors, content generators and thought leaders to deliver our product roadmap, ensuring the operational and commercial teams are fully trained on the value proposition of the products and that the product can be delivered effectively.
You will develop and execute education KPIs and ensuring they are embedded in the design ofour programmes and content whilst also ensuring the Professions team is able to execute instructional design and eleaning development.
You will lead SME on your thematic area, knowing your thematic area inside and out including the latest trends and evolutions in the industry, bridging the technical and business worlds, and working with colleagues across our business to support the development and delivery of our education and product strategy and technical roadmaps.
You’ll be leading a Product Team and leading the design of our education and training product development as we take the global opportunities open to us.

You will also need;
Practice experience in Private Client/Law/Accountancy or Fund Management combined with a relevant qualification(s)
Experience of instructional design or delivering education or training products in a professional and localised context combined with an understanding of professional education and training and an ability to design and implement a holistic product design.
You’ll have superb communication skills to work with internal stakeholders, clients and students to ensure our education philosophy and products meet the needs of our diverse global markets
- Good communicators, who demonstrate an understanding that product design and creation is a whole business endeavour
- A leader who can bring a vision to the product development team and guide their deliverables
- Decision-makers who can use their expertise when deciding on product development priorities
- Ability to design and deliver an insight and research strategy to implement into a product roadmap and consequently deliver innovative content and learning opportunities in their products
- Ability to communicate with customers, SMEs, internal stakeholders and senior management to develop insight, advocate and persuade for investment in the product roadmap
- Understanding that product development is a cross-team endeavour and involve all the business in ownership and development of the roadmaps
