This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and monitoring of LPPs User Involvement and Social Inclusion programmes across all LPP Community services. S/he will be responsible for establishing an effective policy and practice framework to ensure service users are meaningfully involved across all London services and have equitable access to relevant social inclusion opportunities and LPP services. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring effective and representative involvement of service users in all LPP services, with appropriate regard to diversity, protected characteristics and intersectionality. S/he will also lead the development of current and new social inclusion initiatives across London, including North and South London Hubs; liaison and partnership with specialist agencies providing employment, training, social support and mentoring opportunities; initiatives to make effective use of digital/online opportunities for social connectedness, and face-to-face social networks including the Service User Forum and New Horizons social meeting space. The role will involve liaison, consultation and training with OPD and partner agency colleagues and other stakeholders.
