We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our client based in Burnham-on-Sea.
What will you be doing?
You will be assisting the Head Cook in preparing nourishing meals for Residents, including sandwich and soup preparation. You will also assist with ordering foodstuff and checking the correct storage is being used at all times, as well as serving food and drinks to Residents.
What do you need?
It would be beneficial to hold a food and hygiene certificate, but this isn't essential. You must, however, have previous catering experience in any setting, but ideally within a care home.
Where will you be working?
You will be working in a beautiful 33 bed Residential Care Home, rated by the CQC as Outstanding and located in Burnham-on-Sea, within a minute walk from the sea front.
