About the Job
Junior Java Developer / Software Engineer (Spring Kotlin). Would you like to be challenged, working on complex trading systems with talented colleagues and continually learning with tailored career development plans whilst enjoying perks such as flexible working? You could be joining a global FinTech to design and develop a range of post-trade systems using the latest technology. As a Junior Java Developer you'll gain exposure to Kotlin and work with messaging technologies such as JMS and Kafka as part of an Agile development team that values collaboration and continual learning.
You'll based in open plan City based offices with a range of facilities and break out areas including pool table, ping pong table and roof terrace as well as quiet areas. There's a good work / life balance including flexible working hours and the option to work from home for part of the week.
Requirements:
*Commercial core Java development skills, ideally including Spring framework
*Familiar with messaging technologies e.g. JMS, Kafka, AMQ
*Agile team and TDD experience
*Collaborative, keen to learn and share ideas
*Kotlin experience is nice to have, or a desire to learn
As a Junior Java Developer / Software Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £55k) plus bonus and flexible benefits package.
