As an IT Systems Engineer you will be joining our busy IT Department, within a distinctive, ambitious and trusted manufacturing company that is committed to making great British dairy the right way. Working closely with the Infrastructure and Applications Teams, you will be responsible for providing second line IT support and assisting in building, supporting and maintaining Yeo Valley’s IT and Business systems. Key responsibilities will include: Building, supporting and managing IT systems, including servers, PCs, enterprise applications and user applications Maintaining, securing and updating IT systems and carry out preventative maintenance Supporting and delivering IT infrastructure projects Providing second line support ensuring high levels of IT service Developing and maintaining a secure and reliable network environment and preventing unauthorised access to Yeo Valley Intellectual property and IT systems Providing out of hours support on a rotating basis Sounds interesting, what do I need? These skills: Experience working within in an IT support environment Understanding of Microsoft technologies such as Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, Skype for Business or Virtualisation is desirable Excellent communication skills Tenacious, positive attitude with a pro-active approach Pragmatic problem solver, well organised with good time-management skills Full driving licence Why should I join the family?
