IT Operations Manager Location: Newport City Centre Head Office Salary: From £35,000 per annum depending on experience Closing Date: Tuesday 08 January 2019 We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Operations Manager to join the Monmouthshire Building Society. Reporting to the Head of IT, this new role will manage the IT change management and project portfolio to drive the Society’s strategic and operational IT priorities by leading and developing the end to end co-ordination of technology rollouts, infrastructure implementations and process improvements. As IT Operations Manager you will be accountable for the IT project portfolio, including planning, execution and status reporting using established project management methodologies, standards and status reporting to agreed schedule, quality and budgetary constraints. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and/or with a relevant project management qualification and will have significant experience in portfolio management and project delivery within budgetary constraints. Strong leadership, influencing and change management skills are essential for this position along with a proven track record of seeing opportunities for improvement and driving forward change. Proficiency with industry standard project management, change management, quality assurance and technical documentation tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Team, Services Test Manager, JIRA, Madcap, Flare, or PRINCE2 are also essential for this role.
