Roles and responsibilities Liaising with the UK Stock Control & UK Logistics to establish the day’s priorities Ensure all checks are carried out and recorded as per company process and any defects reported Responsible for the issuing of permits to work and control of sub-contractors on site Identify and communicate potential issues and escalate accordingly Ensure that the team wear the correct PPE and are working safely and to set procedures Measuring and presenting daily activities across all duties Ensure personal safety and the safety of others isn’t compromised at anytime Management of the safety management folders for the depot Any other reasonable duties at the request of your line manager Skills required Good communication skills at a variety of levels Reliable and punctual Production of accurate and on time reports Customer focus and a GIRFT (get it right first time) attitude Eager to learn and pass on knowledge to others Good attention to detail and not afraid to ask when unsure Ability to steer and adapt to change IT literate B2 FLT license (Desirable) RAMS – ability to produce risk assessments and method statements Benefits In return, we can offer a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance, life assurance and inclusion into the Company pension scheme.
