Examination Invigilator Location: Ampleforth College Salary: £10.76 per hour Closing Date: Wednesday 05 December 2018 Additional invigilators are required to join our existing team to assist in the running of public and internal examinations. The role is key in maintaining the security and integrity of the examination system while ensuring all candidates have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. It will involve supervising students and enforcing JCQ regulations, organisation of examination venues and any associated tasks. The role may also include facilitating access arrangements such as reading or scribing for a student. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, flexible and be able to relate to children. Experience of examination invigilation is not required as full training will be given. The role is initially to assist with the internal examinations taking place at the end of January and then for the public exam season April to July. The hours are flexible and agreed in advance. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 5th December at 12pm. Interviews will take place the week commencing the 10th December.
