The client is a leading manufacturer of industrial weighing and inspection technologies. With more than 147 years experience, the company provides products, solutions and services to the process industry for increasing the reliability, safety and efficiency of production and packaging lines.
The opportunity is for an internal sales person that handles component sales where a specific component is requested as part of their role. If advice or specifying is required this would be escalated to the field sales specialist.
Key must haves:
- Technical knowledge / background
- Attention to detail
- Good PC skills, especially for production of accurate and well laid out, error free reports and quotes as well as upkeep of CRM system
- Within commutable distance of our offices
- Initiative and willingness to expand as the role grows.
It’s a new role and the initial focus is helping to relieve the field sales team of incoming price and quote requests, then expanding to helping quote large products and equipment, but there is also scope to further expand to helping prepare and set equipment for demonstrations, carrying out product testing and even carrying out equipment demonstrations eventually.
This is a very varied role with a fantastic business, and our client is looking to pay a salary of £26,000 - £30,000 pro-rata for the right candidate. The standard working hours are 08:30 - 17:30.
