We are now looking for an Internal Comms Manager to support the development and implementation of our Internal Communications strategy.
About the team
We’re a relatively small (but perfectly formed) team of passionate people, providing internal communications support to manage the reputation of Direct Line Group with its employees. We do this by operating across three areas:
- Campaigns and delivery
- Business partnering
- Brand and engagement
We’re a high performing team that influences and sets the communications agenda with our Executive Committee and their teams. Through demonstrating the value we add, we’re an active voice at the leadership table, helping to drive the right outcomes for the business.
About the role
This role will be working with the Internal Communications Business Partner for our Claims function, providing dedicated support to the Directors leading our Motor and Household Claims teams. This is a really diverse part of our business with around 2,500 colleagues based across a number of different sites. It’s a fast paced environment that’s constantly evolving to support our company mission.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for evolving the internal communications strategy for Claims Operations. You’ll create plans and develop content that supports the delivery of business goals by focusing on outcomes. You’ll drive engagement by helping leaders to articulate the strategy and priorities for their teams and then help share this in a meaningful way that promotes discussion and encourages feedback.

We need someone to hit the ground running so you’ll have proven internal communications experience, not just in developing content and delivery but also in acting as a communications advisor, influencing, and providing best practice counsel.
