The company is recruiting for a HR Officer on behalf of a social housing provider based in the West Midlands.
An exciting new role has arisen for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual, in an organisation that has significantly grown over the past year. The post holder will have the unique opportunity to develop this role together with the organisation.
This role would be ideal for someone who is competent in most areas of HR and wants to be the HR specialist in an organisation. As part of your development and our commitment to you, you will be mentored and coached by a seasoned HR Professional.
In this HR Officer role, you will be involved in key HR operational activities and will develop and maintain regular contact with line managers to build strong and influential working relations sufficient to support and advise line managers on all HR related issues. Whilst ensuring the organisation’s approach to people management is legally compliant, you will be responsible for promoting a positive workplace culture which reflects the organisations’ values. You will also have key responsibilities and oversight of statutory and mandatory training, safeguarding, Health and Safety, and equality, diversity and inclusion in the organisation.
Who are we looking for?
The post holder will have a CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualification and 3 years demonstrable experience in a HR generalist role.
The successful person must be ready to hit the ground running and deliver in a new, exciting but challenging role.
