They help children to develop the skills they need to live independently as adults, and adults to realise their potential, fulfil their ambitions and achieve greater independence.
My client is looking for an experienced HR Manager to deliver a business-aligned HR service through the management and development of a small team and providing operational support to managers and employees. This is a new role within the HR department and reports to the recently appointed HR Director.
It’s a hands-on operational role, with responsibility for a small, dedicated business area so although you’ll be undertaking HR project work to deliver change-management initiatives, you’ll still be able to ‘keep your hand in’ on all aspects of a generalist remit; recruitment and selection, coaching and guiding line managers in employee relations matters, including those that are more complex, as well as learning and development. You’ll also be able to use your well-honed relationship skills to act as a contact with my client’s outsourced partners for recruitment and payroll.
Naturally, you’ll hold an HR qualification or equivalent, but just as importantly, you’ll love all things HR and have the energy and passion to get things done, in collaboration with others. Alongside this, you’ll have every opportunity to have your say and be involved in shaping the improvement of HR process and practice across the whole organisation; helping to put the WOW factor in to every aspect of the employee experience so that their employees are driven to be the best they can be. You will have previous experience as an HR manager.
