Title: HR Assistant Division: Group Functions Location: Stoke Banding: 2 Contract: Permanent Closes On: Wednesday 12 December 2018 Job Purpose: To assist the HR team and to maintain and update HR systems and processes Duties and Responsibilities: First line support for all HR operations queries; answering departmental phones, administering HR mailboxes Conduct Maternity RA and advise line managers Review back to work reviews and advise HRO of trends / actions required by business Review Bradford score and advise HRO of trends/ action required by business Provide high quality administration for HR processes across the full employee lifecycle Responsible for the accurate filing and maintenance of employee data in adherence to data protection requirements Participate in business/ functional projects as required Set up and co-ordination of assessment centres Prepare offer letters, contracts of employment and other employee correspondence Update the HR Systems with any changes and ensure documentation is prepared and filed appropriately. Ensure processes are followed in beehive and advise HRO of trends / actions required by business Manage the HR, Recruitment & Health and Safety inbox and ensure that queries are either dealt with or referred as appropriate. Act as the HR intranet champion, using the content management system to update and refresh information on the intranet as required. Assist Training Manager as and when required Conduct regular audits of information held on the HR / training System and ensure the information is up to date. First point of contact for recruitment All Staff are expected to carry out any reasonable instruction given by their senior manager, in line with business requirements Skills & Experience: Previous HR Admin is essential Good communications skills, written and verbal High standard of numeracy Strong attention to detail Intermediate to advanced Word Experience of working from own initiative and completing tasks with limited supervision Are you a Davies Person?
