We are now looking for a HR Assistant to join a small but friendly HR team in our head office in Epping on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be responsible for supporting and assisting with the administration on our HR system – Cascade. Having Cascade/HR systems experience, you will come in and hit the ground running -helping with Cascade system maintenance and updates, Cascade queries and supporting the roll out of new HR workflows and processes. You will be a key contributor in helping the HR team make sure the system is being used to its maximum capacity and driving efficiencies through the business. What you’ll be doing: General HR Cascade assistance (which includes data input, data checks and contract salary updates into Cascade) Supporting and administering other bulk data uploads such as absence and diversity data Supporting the creation and updating of shift patterns in Cascade, as appropriate Responding to Cascade queries via the Cascade HR inbox Supporting the mentoring and education of Managers and Contract Administrators on the HR Cascade processes Cleansing Cascade in accordance with the Group GDPR policy and retention of data policy Cleansing the HR files in accordance with the Group GDPR policy and retention of data policy Liaising with Managers within the various business units in the business relating to GDPR compliance Uploading core personal files into Cascade e.g. contracts of employment, promotion letters Assisting in the auditing and checking of the data /data fields in Cascade Assisting in the closure and archiving of any manual records and scanning into Cascade, as appropriate Maintenance of Cascade electronic filing systems About you: Experience with a HR system – specifically Cascade is essential Ability to work on own, as well as part of a team Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person Ambitious, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual IT literate with experience in using Microsoft systems and proficiency with databases Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads Good attention to detail Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision Troubleshooting mindset Qualifications: desirable Previous experience working within a HR or Recruitment department CIPD membership We ensure all employees receive ongoing support, training in their respective fields and a wide range of benefits.
