The HR Division of SF Group are recruiting for a generalist HR Officer based in Leicestershire for a leading manufacturing organisation. This is an exciting time to be joining the business as they are currently focussing on a number of key HR initiatives, which you will play a pivotal part in. This role is predominately operational focussing on key HR initiatives. This is a permanent role paying up to £28,000 with fantastic benefits and the opportunity to progress across the group.
The key duties of the role:
•Advising both employees and people managers with regard to employment related issues
•Case management of a wide range of issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence and flexible working requests
•You will partner with managers to coach them on aspects of people management
•Recruitment and selection focusing on time to fill as well as quality of candidates
•Partnering with recruiting managers to handle the end to end recruitment process from attraction through to induction
•Collating MI for producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to assist with driving performance levels forward
•Communication and engagement incorporating communication, health and well-being initiatives
•Excellent knowledge of employment law and it's practical application
•Ideally CIPD qualified, working towards or equivalent
•Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Previous experience within a similar role in a HR department
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm, with occasional flexibility required. Car parking available on site.
