HR Advisor Location: Huddersfield Salary: £22k - £24k per annum Closing Date: Monday 13 May 2019, at 9.30 AM Hours: 37 per week, 52 weeks per year This is a fantastic career opportunity to join our outstanding HR team. We are a large successful FE college, currently Ofsted graded as Good, operating across Kirklees with centres based in Huddersfield and Dewsbury. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a modern building, with excellent on site facilities, such as a fully equipped gym, hair & beauty salons and fine dining restaurant. Working with, and supporting the small team of HR Business Partners you will be undertaking case and project work in the areas of employee relations, recruitment and selection and other core HR functions. You’ll use your communication skills to advise and coach managers at an operational level, ensuring that decision making is consistent with current employment legislation and good employment practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to bring fresh ideas to drive change in our HR practices. You’ll already be CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards it and have demonstrable experience of dealing with a range of ER cases and recruitment campaigns with minimal support. You’ll have good knowledge of employment law and a clear understanding of people strategies. This role will enable you to gain a greater depth of experience across the varied HR specialisms which will stand you in good stead for progressing into a BP role. This post also requires a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C).
