We are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a rapidly expanding HR Consultancy,close to the heart of Manchester.The role offers a competitive salary of £26,000 –£32,000 dependant on experience and the opportunity to join the firm in their new modern and extensively equipped offices at the time of their expansion.About The Role: To provide a dedicated HR Employment Law Service to a number of key accounts. To provide advice on a wide range of employee related matters including absence and health issues,conduct and capability,disciplinary and grievance.Also advice on matters associated with organisational change such as redundancy,restructure and TUPE. To provide advice that is comprehensive and commercially minded advice as well as in line with current employment legislation and best practice standards To develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with clients and colleagues,establishing professional credibility and scope for the promotion of additional services To manage the HR Assistant on a day to day basis in the servicing of both key accounts and in line with the broader demands of the Team overall To provide onsite support to clients on more complex employee related matters such as disciplinary and grievance casework,ensuring legislation,policy and best practice are followed at all times To support clients with the recruitment and induction of staff,which may include drafting of JDs,liaising with our Recruitment Business Partner,and overseeing the interview process To be able to develop,coach and challenge where appropriate To draft or review clients policies to ensure legal compliance To understand the principle of good management information and be able to report on issues as required To keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice,knowledge sharing within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement in the service offered To identify and communicate the implications of any legislative changes in employment law within the team and update any associated documentation accordingly To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job,participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training To undertake such other duties,training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this jobEssential Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years HR Employment Law knowledge & experience Employment Law or CIPD qualified Experience of working in a HR Employment Law Advisory capacity Ability to produce draft policies & procedures,legal updates Abreast of current HR Employment Legislation Experience in providing “hands on” HR Employment Law support to Managers Experience of conducting recruitment interviews,disciplinarie’s,exit interviews etc. Strong professional presence,commercially aware,strong communicator at all levels Good on a range of computer packages including word and excel,HR specialist packagesAbout The Benefits Annual salary £26,000 –£32,000 Annual performance based bonus Close to local transport links Excellent on site facilities Further study opportunitiesTo ApplyIf this sounds like a role you will LOVE,please send your CV to firstname.lastname@example.orgWe aim to respond to all successful applications within 2 days.If you haven’t been contacted within 2 days your application has been unsuccessful and your details will not be held.
