Health & Well Being Practitioner Location: London Salary: £23,500 Closes on: Sunday 20 January 2019 We currently have a number of exciting opportunites for Health and Wellbeing Practitioners to join our teams at HMPs Brixton and Wormwood Scrubs Working within a Health and Wellbeing Service you will contribute to the delivery of various Health and Wellbeing groups and programmes for clients. The post demands well developed verbal skills and interpersonal group work facilitation skills to stimulate groups and clients, relating positively and empathetically. You will provide group session interventions for clients with health and substance related issues and it’s important that as a Health and Wellbeing Practitioner you utilise your specialist facilitation group work skills, knowledge and experience, taking a holistic approach and working closely with the team leader, to help our clients to better manage their physical and/or mental health and wellbeing through the services we provide. The role is vital in improving the links between the Health and Wellbeing service and the service users within the prison. To be successful in this role you will need to have a Level 3 in Counselling and a thorough understanding of CBT and be suitably qualified to deliver a therapeutic intervention.
