Health & Safety Manager - Engineering & Fabrication
£45,000 - 50,000 negotiable on experience + benefits
With a strong history in their field our client offers expert technical solutions within the Oil & Gas sector. Based in Glasgow with additional offices in the UK as well as internationally they work with clients on a global basis.
We are searching for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join in a stand alone role to take responsibility for Health, Safety and Environment across all areas of the business.
Working from Head Office you will liaise with customers, contractors and colleagues to manage documentation and ensure robust systems and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate similar experience in an engineering or fabrication environment across more than one site. Crucially, you will have excellent soft skills and the energy and drive to take full responsibility for managing and improving Health & Safety across the business. You will ideally have the following qualifications:
- Further education in H&S or relevant subject (BSc, Masters etc)
- NEBOSH National Diploma
- Health & Safety Investigations
- Excellent communication skills
- £45-50K depending on experience
