The Head of Ecommerce will be part of this multi category cluster management team, reporting into the Vice President / General Manager for the cluster with matrix report into the Online Vice President.
You will be responsible for delivering the Ecommerce strategy for this multi category cluster; the sales profit growth and the commercial business targets in the UK and Ireland. An expert in website / digital trading, traffic driving, developing and optimising a multi-channel digital retail business. Fully versed in end to end digital operations, along with a solid understanding of website/digital reporting and analytics.
As part of the team you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver the holistic vision and targets of the cluster, strengthening brand equity and enhancing the consumer experience and broadening the consumer reach. You will ensure the business has a strong differentiated presence across the UK and Ireland and challenge the status quo to deliver against this multi category clusters true potential.
Working collaboratively with the Online Centre of Excellence (COE) to support the delivery and implementation of the digital innovation plans. Your experience in driving change, fostering innovative thinking, being adaptable, collaborative and agile, whilst also enjoying working in a fast-paced matrix and global organization will be key.
Key Roles Responsibilities:
•Drive delivery of the Ecommerce strategy for the clusters UK Ireland digital business, in line with the broader UK and Global goals.
•Own the Ecommerce PL and deliver on all KPI’s, including revenue, profit, contribution, customer acquisition, growth and retention.
•Own and manage digital and omni channel trading (Brand.com, Retailer.com, third parties, Free Standing Stores (FSS) traffic driving to Brand.com) to deliver the commercial objectives and targets.
•Build and drive the Ecommerce Trade and Promotional plan in collaboration with the business teams.
•Work with the Centre’s of Excellence and Global teams to deliver the initiatives on the strategic roadmap.
•Own and deliver the reporting and analytics for the clusters Ecommerce, ensuring it informs and influences decision making.
•Delivery of the clusters targets across Paid Social, PPC, Affiliates, SEO, Display, Native, CRM and chat/community.
•Coordinate all commercial activities with the brand team to ensure organic and paid activities are aligned / key campaign projects are in sync.
•Drive success and best practice adoption across all the clusters Ecommerce business e.g.:
Drive web merchandising and better basics e.g. taxonomy, product hierarchy, categorization, recommenders, etc.
Lead the Ecommerce set up and launch plans ensuring availability to maximise the sales opportunity
Ensure an optimised, digital and omni channel consumer experience
Fully utilize and exploit the CMS and digital tools
•Be a strong inspirational leader for the clusters UK Ecommerce division, challenging and motivating as you lead.
•Be responsible for building and maintaining a high performance, high energy, collaborative and fun culture as the team continues to expand to support the high growth trajectory.
•Collaborate actively with other members of the clusters management team and share insights.
•Work collaboratively with the Online Centre of Excellence (COE) to support the delivery of the wider ecommerce strategies and implementation of the digital innovation plans.
•Engage and partner with the other Brands, Functions and COE teams to deliver the broader business objectives.
•Manage, motivate and develop the team of this cluster.
•Foster an experimentation, inquiry and innovation culture with the clusters Ecommerce and Brand team.
•Extensive experience in Ecommerce / digital, within an Ecommerce operational role.
•Demonstrates a strategic and broad view of the business, industry and consumer environment to anticipate and plan for the future.
•Extensive experience, knowledge and understanding of Ecommerce trading, merchandising, marketing and technology.
•Ability to drive sales and profit whilst developing and maintaining the Brand identity
•Proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth through strategic planning and brand partnerships.
•Proven track record of running an Ecommerce business with a trading focus and lens on consumer insights, data and trends.
•PL and budget management experience.
•A collaborator, confident working in a matrix organization and have the gravitas to influence key stakeholders and Global teams across the business.
•Experience in working with Development functions (COE) to support the successful delivery of website / omni channel improvements to deliver the business and Brand objectives.
•Adept at working in a fast growth environment, with an entrepreneurial mindset.

•Excellent numerical, website analytics and data analytic skills – able to interpret extensive data to make actionable recommendations to the clusters business.
