What we're looking for:
As our GSI Business Development Leader you will scope, define and drive creation of Citrix solutions and integration with GSI technology and offerings, as well as work in collaboration with multiple GSI Leads to match Technical Strategy to Business and Sales GTM Plans. You are responsible for driving Solutions creation from inception to creation, drive the creation of content (value propositions, solutions, messaging, datasheets, whitepapers etc.) aimed at promoting the joint technical and business value proposition.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Strategy and Business Planning: Participation in development of business plan and work as part of cross functional team on execution of such based on defined strategy. Responsible to manage technical roadmaps to keep and solution offers, aligned to the business strategy and GTM needs.
Solution Development: Create and Drive joint solutions base on value propositions and RTM motions required for success for specific initiatives.
Enterprise Customer Engagements: Supporting the GSI in a pre-sales capacity for selected engagements.
GTM: Create and manage new solutions and GTM initiatives that drive incremental value for Citrix and Partners. Manage roadmaps to ensure alignment between solution catalog and GTM needs.
Governance: Manage Technical Solution Integration Governance model for Ecosystem and Partnership. Define Governance structure to drive accountability and product alignment though appropriate planning and testing.
Product Group Interaction: Manage relationship between Citrix product group and partner's development and labs team to create joint technology solutions and roadmaps. Ensure product integration points that create unique Citrix GTM advantages.
GSI Service Co-ordination – Work closely with the professional services and wider Customer Success organization to ensure effective and efficient service delivery engagements.
Sales & Marketing Interaction: Work with Marketing, Sales and Channel virtual teams to support Go-to-Market motions required for success and adjust solution creation to match needs.
Executive Interaction: Occasional engagement with BU and Product Group execs. Occasional interaction and demonstrations for Partner Execs.
Role Scope: EMEA role, working with GSI and Citrix team within regions, 50% in primary geography.
Travel:Up to 50% travel.
What we would like you to have:
Ideally a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences related degree. Master of Science is a plus.
At least two industry recognized technical certifications such as Cisco, HP, Microsoft, CompTia & CISSP.
Citrix Certified Sales and Citrix Technical Certification is needed.
12 years of Industry Experience: Lead Architect level experience within Fortune 500 companies and Datacenters. Solid understanding of Enterprise Marketing and Sales organizations with experience as a Technical marketing lead and/or Sales SE.
2 years of GSI Experience: Worked in and helped creation solutions for large GSI partnerships.
Sales & GTM Experience: Experience of working with key players and ecosystem, including business and GTM models in multiple regions
Communication: Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills and comfort in communicating at executive level. Strong technical writer and editor, expected to publish multiple whitepapers and blogs per year
Strategic Skills: Strong strategic and operational skills are needed to help define a common strategy and plan
Operational Skills: Experience of working with IT industry players and ecosystem, including business and GTM models in multiple regions
Technology knowledge: Must be an Expert Architect in a least two technologies As well as have a very well rounded IT and Technical background. Must have experience working at senior technical levels within large High-tech companies and organizations, and be able to influence the brightest minds within the GSI organization. Must be able to lead the installation of very large and complex solutions within Core partner labs, and must be able to tune and troubleshoot those deployments with minimal assistance. In addition, must have very strong communication skills both oral and written.
Ideally 8 years of Senior Technical Leadership experience
Technical Knowledge – Citrix: Expert in at least three Citrix Technology Stacks
Virtual Team Experience: Experienced Virtual team lead, capable of architecting and leading large complex technical solution build outs.
