Treasury Manager Whitbread Plc – FTSE 100 Based out of Whitbread Court, Dunstable, LU5 5XE £Competitive plus excellent benefits and bonus The Role An exciting new leadership opportunity has arisen to join the UKs leading hospitality, and FTSE 100 business, Whitbread PLC for an experienced Treasury Manager During an exciting time of change, we are expanding our Treasury and are seeking a driven and innovative AMCT qualified and experienced professional to lead a capable team and take responsibility for the delivery of a best-in-class Treasury function. Reporting to our Head of Group FP&A & Treasury, we’ll look to you for technical and analytical recommendations and guidance combined with exceptional stakeholder management up to Exec level. What you will be doing As a passionate people-person, you will have the opportunity to further develop our team in to a centre of excellence whilst maintaining an effective control environment. Committed to best practice, you’ll be able to leverage your previous experience to deliver the efficient funding of our business and prevent surprises through the provision of risk management that will minimise our financial and operational risk. As our subject expert, you’ll build trust quickly and nurture effective relationships as an influential business partner - managing internal and external relationships for the benefit of the group. Why we would love you to apply As an AMCT qualified Treasury Manager (5 yrs PQE), you will have experience of a diverse and fast-paced commercial PLC and ideally had experience of supporting an organisation through a substantial period of change. To be successful in this role, we will need you to have significant knowledge in the following: Financial products and markets including money market and financial derivatives Risk management analysis – cash forecasting, gap analysis, interest rate management UK bank market and financial institutions Treasury management systems, cash management and payment techniques As a successful influencer, you are confident to navigate the senior levels of our complex organisation and challenge decision-makers to ensure the bet outcome. Leading from the front, your team will look to you to celebrate the successes, effectively communicate change and coach professional growth.
