The Graphics Team is part of the wider global Marketing and Business Development Team therefore work very closely with members of this team around the world. Our Marketing team plays a significant role in the development of business for our growing international practice. Working closely with engineering and technical staff across the business, the Graphics Team is critical to supporting all front-end activity of the business. Our Graphics Team has played a key role in establishing a strong and recognisable brand in our market and we are now seeking to strengthen the team with the appointment of a Graphic Designer. Working closely with our Senior Graphic Designer, colleagues in the marketing team and with staff across all our technical disciplines, you will help us deliver graphic design projects including bids, presentation boards, award entries, email campaigns, event collateral and updating the website. This role will provide a great opportunity for you to apply your own creative style within clear brand guidelines, and to work as part of small, close-knit and extremely talented graphics team. You will be given the chance to work directly with your “internal clients”, developing design concepts in a collaborative manner. The business works on a wide variety of exciting, high profile projects, across a range of sectors, in locations across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The central Graphics Team is based in London, and you will have the opportunity to work with staff across the world. Our ideal applicant will be educated to degree level in Graphic Design (or another, relevant discipline), and will have desktop publishing experience. Your experience should include use of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Office (particularly Word and PowerPoint). Personally, you should be collaborative and proactive, and have proven experience of working withinn a team environment to develop graphics for projects. You should have some experience of liaising with external third parties (such as photographers, printers and other members of a project team). You must be able to organise your own workload (which will, at times, be demanding) to deliver projects to tight deadlines, without losing your attention to detail. You should also be able to work effectively as part of the wider Marketing and Business Development team, and be willing to take on additional, varied responsibilities as required.
