Individual Giving focuses on building strong, engaging relationships with our donors with the aim of maximising fundraising income for YMCA England & Wales in partnership with local YMCAs, who are delivering direct work through 114 local YMCA’s, ranging from small community based organisations to nationally relevant specialists. This is a new role within the team and we are looking for a super organised individual to assist with the day to day donor admin; someone with good excel skills and great attention to detail who wants to be part of a team who are passionate about putting our donors first. The role This is an exciting time to join our small, but hard working Individual Giving team at YMCA England & Wales; this is a crucial role making sure our donor programme is operational and we have big plans for the future, with plans to grow our income and we are looking for someone to be part of that. About you Our desired candidate should possess: Experience of working in a similar administrative role, within an office environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular excel and word Experience of using a large database (Raisers Edge would be preferable) and an understanding of importing/exporting data Excellent attention to detail and time management, as well as the ability to prioritise your own workload The ability to work well under pressure, and meet deadlines whilst carrying out a wide variety of tasks and processes Please note that should you be successful in your application you will be required to complete a safeguarding self-declaration form, undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and have two professional reference checks.
