Kennedys is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Assistant Manager to join the Financial Reporting team, assisting the Financial Reporting/Management Accounts team in providing the global Firm with prompt, accurate and timely reports to assist with the financial planning of the Firm.
Kennedys Finance team support the firm globally producing timely and accurate financial and management information, reporting solutions and operational support to maintain the high standard of service offered to the firm’s internal and external clients.
Our Finance team is made up of Financial Control, Financial Planning and Reporting, Management Accountants, Credit Control, Legal Cashiers and Billers and Financial Operations Database teams.
Our UK Finance team is based in Chelmsford and London and have a presence in eight global offices.
- Development of management reporting globally and in particular new international offices
- Development and preparation of country, division, office, team, line of business, partner and client reports
- Development and preparation of pricing and profitability reporting
- Global cash flow modelling (both short term and long term) and forecasting including bank covenant projections and regular reporting on forecasts against actual
- Production of profitability analysis to assist the Firm with its pricing strategy.
- Excellent MS Excel and communications skills
- Experience in a deadline focused role within a busy accounts department
- Law firm or partnership/LLP experience
- Knowledge of macro’s and pivot tables
- Knowledge of Elite 3E
- Experience of pricing/profitability models and project costing
- Experience of appraising and validating financial models.
