- Field Engineer/ Temporary Works Co-ordinator
- £275.00 - £300 per day
- Likely to last 6 months
- Supporting the extension of existing airport facilities, including pier facilities additional aircraft stands, taxi/pavement interfaces and utilities provisions.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
Ideally a degree in an engineering
Track record of working as a field engineer/engineer or assistant
CSCS and SMSTS
Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) or Coordinator (TWC)
Knowledge of a single technical engineering discipline (Structural Steel / Building Envelope), contracts administration (NEC Form) and/or cost and scheduling relating to the construction of airport projects.
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Chartered Civil Engineer
- Ability to provide direction to a team of engineers
Monitoring Contractor compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements, through inspection and surveillance.
Review delivery plans and procedures.
Resolve engineering, construction, operational interfaces with project superintendents and other project stakeholders.
Provide input to project airport communications.
Interpret design engineering drawings and specifications.
Assist the Project Manager in assessing payment applications.
Identify and report project risk, and issues, and support the Project Manager in communicating to the Contractor
Review Contractor monthly programme submissions
Review Contractor inspection and test plans; conduct quality surveillance, attend hold and witness (inspection and testing) activities and report construction quality issues to the Senior Field Engineer.
