The Client:
One of the world’s largest integrated producers of polymers and fibres, whose products are used to create high performance fabrics that are able to handle life’s toughest demands. Our client has a portfolio of many household brands and global trademarks and a global presence, active in more than 20 countries.
The business are continually looking to create long term value by embracing new technology and transforming how work is accomplished; they are now looking for a future leader with a high motivation and ambitious drive to join their Performance Materials business.
This role would suit an ambitious and customer focused individual wanting to develop their skills in a commercial role. A background in sales is not a necessity; Key attributes are a driven, entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to succeed in an innovative and forward thinking business.
The Role: The purpose of this role is to manage and grow a range of EU Accounts in various demanding technology driven markets
Responsibilities:
· Manage and develop a variety of European accounts across the high-performance, state of the art, fibres businesses.
· Drive growth by understanding market value dynamics, competitive environment and unmet customer needs.
· Build new and extend current networks to become the preferred counterparty of choice.
· Working with leadership to advance strategies, prioritizations, optimization and innovation in both products and work streams.
Requirements:
· Degree (Bachelors or Masters) qualified.
· Values & Beliefs consistent with the following attributes: Entrepreneurship, integrity, respect, humility and self-actualisation
· Economic thinking capability with the ability to understand technical markets.
· Willingness and ability to travel abroad.
· German language skills desirable.
