About the role.
We are looking to recruit Tutors that can do more than just deliver a qualification from entry level 3 up to and including level 2 but can also engage and inspire students that have had little or no prior education. Our Tutors believe people are capable of change and deserve a second chance in life. They deliver innovative, engaging and motivational learning sessions to small groups of Prison based learners ensuring that they work with them to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations. Tutors ensure that the appropriate training plans are in place and that the advice and guidance is given when required while ensuring they deliver the highest level of quality courses that engage with the learners and help them to reach their potential.

Have you got what it takes?
You should have a passion for what you do along with relevant and recent experience. Ideally you will need to hold an appropriate level 3 teaching qualification and/or have substantial experience in the sector. You should be able to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners from all ages, abilities and backgrounds, including learners with significant barriers to employment and training. You will need to be driven to deliver the best employer/industry led skills training and willingness to understand employer or industry requirements.
