ABOUT THE ROLE
Working as part of the global compliance team, you will ensure Mediabrands EMEA offices successfully meet all compliance, audit, security & (IT) GDPR program objectives. As part of the global team, from time to time, you will be expected to participate in requirements and projects outside of the EMEA region.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for EMEA SOX Programme working closely with Mediabrands global compliance team and when necessary, IPG Internal Auditors and IPG IT Compliance.
Be the first point of contact for SOX related escalations from EMEA markets.
Responsible for providing end to end SOX and non-SOX EMEA audit oversight.
Conduct SOX/non-SOX readiness internal audits and control testing across EMEA markets.
Providing solutions and recommendations that address the SOX and General Computer Controls Compliance requirements of the Agencies.
Ensure appropriate reporting on Compliance relevant KPI’s.
When required, liaise and communicate on Compliance programmes with external parties, such as IPG auditors, IPG IT Compliance, IPG Risk, CISO office, as appropriate.
Respond to prospective client RFI and/or Contracts and questionnaires on Information Security and/or Data Protection requirements/clauses.
Work with the VP of Security and Compliance to ensure that Security monitoring activities and initiatives are aligned with any Data Protection Compliance obligations.
Be the point person for IT representation on the IPG GDPR committee
Work closely with the MBW GDPR PM and legal team to deliver relevant work issued by the IPG DPO office.
Under the guidance of VP of Learning and Development, deliver appropriate ongoing GDPR training modules & education to GDPR Champions and user community where required.
Provide guidance to relevant IT teams on IT related tasks originating from the IPG GDPR IT work stream such as appraisal and testing of new Compliance systems/tools.
Work closely with legal on responding to client queries around Technical measures required under GDPR and Client contractual clauses.
Play a pivotal role in developing and establishing an audit programme for GDPR and similar Data Protection Laws across EMEA.
Working with the MBW legal and Data Governance board as a subject matter expert to ensure Mediabrands is compliant with Data Privacy legislation especially around Technical measures required within the respective laws.
Assist the IPG DPO office, legal team and IPG Internal Audit in monitoring Compliance with the GDPR and other relevant Data Protection Regulations across EMEA
Consult and advise development teams, AdOps and Technical teams on Privacy by Design when building new software/applications/systems.
Play a key role in the Mediabrands Data Breach management process along with legal, GDPR lead and HR.
Advise employees on the content and application of the EU Data Handling Guidelines issued by IPG.
Work with GDPR Champions on issues that present higher Data Protection risks coming from the clients.
Work with the GDPR Champions and EMEA IT leads to maintain a detailed understanding of Data Protection across Mediabrands Business.
Managing\carrying out site audits - Sarbanes Oxley, General Computer Controls
Implementing or operational involvement in a GDPR program
Tenacious, pragmatic and a methodical thinker with the maturity to be able to deal with potentially challenging and complex matrixed organisation. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills.
Any professional security\audit qualifications certs \ Media agency experience highly desirable
