What is the DigitalStrategy and Programme teamresponsible for?
This team drives our digital platforms forFiduciary investors, this involves looking after our client portal which isused by investors, employees and advisors.Within this role we need someone who can apply their expertise in userexperience, design tools, design techniques and marketing to various campaigns(mobile, tablet and web).You’ll designmajor components of a site and set standards across large project areas, oftenglobal in scope. And support web projects from start to finish, collaboratingwith Digital/Virtual Channels Technology and other web designers anddevelopers.
Whatare the ongoing responsibilities of a Digital Web Designer?
Createwebpage design, web components, banner ads and promotional banners; includingwebsite redesigns, web application projects and mobile delivery
Proposeunique visual treatments within the brand guidelines and producing web graphicsto be used in website and mobile designs and web applications
Managedesign projects of defined scope, relying upon brand and design styleguidelines, pre-approved design templates, content components, technology andContent Management System guidelines
Understandbest practices for user experience for mobile and web, design standards,techniques, technologies, tools and internal processes
Conductwebsite consistency reviews and identify consistency issues to senior teammembers for evaluation and consideration
Produceweb graphics that follow predetermined style guidelines
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
BAdegree in graphic design or visual communications
Formalor on the job training in web design and development

Goodexperience in website or web application design
Fundamentalknowledge of mobile UI design, with an understanding of the differences betweenmobile web and mobile app
Solid understandingof digital design concepts, best practices, graphic production and HTML and CSScoding
Fundamentalunderstanding of usability, information architecture, interface design, andprototyping.
Ideallyexperience in either the financial industry or major corporation
Excellentcommunication skills, proven project management and problem solving skills;with the ability to communicate design concepts to a larger audience
Solidskills in using Adobe PhotoShop and knowledge of other design tools such as Illustrator,Dreamweaver, Flash (animation & actionscript)
Someknowledge of HTML5 and CMS
Preferexperience with web design in foreign languages or other cultures or countries
Abilityto work under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projectssimultaneously
Mustbe able to maintain high level of productivity and accountability with minimalsupervision
Abilityto work cross functional and in a distributed environment
Excellentadvocacy and persuasive skills
Abilityto articulate vision of digital design and business goals of design elements
