A Design Engineer is required on a contract basis to join an industry leading engineering and manufacturing business.

This is a great opportunity to join an exciting Formula 1 team in a key role helping to facilitate their aerodynamic testing. This position will be working within the Aero-Mechanical design team responsible for detail design for various mechanical components & assemblies for use in the Wind Tunnel facility.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Mechanical Aero Design & Development, including fixtures, jigs & test-rigs for Wind Tunnel and R&D Testing
* Hand calculations, stress & fatigue analysis or components and structures
* Hydraulic and pneumatic actuator system design
Qualifications & Experience
* Working knowledge of CAD
* Design FEA & Draughting Experience
* Good knowledge of GD&T
* Experience within a similar role
