Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are recruiting a highly analytical Supply Chain professional to take on a fantastic opportunity as a Forecast & Demand Analyst, working for a highly successful Wholesale organisation, with an international presence. My client is engaged in the manufacture and wholesale of products to trade and direct consumer. As a leading global brand, at the forefront of their industry they are always keen to find highly ambitious professionals to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company as part of their highly skilled Supply Chain department. Taking on a key role of forecasting demand across specific categories. Identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and process. Ensuring the correct model is in place by analysing output and maintaining key analytical tools across the database.

They are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking for a long term move and enjoys working within a fast-paced environment in order to manage their increasing demand.
The role will be expected to work closely with other departments to gather necessary data and provide accurate forecast reports across the planning and purchasing teams. Therefore, ability to work cross functionally and communicate at all levels is necessary.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
*Creating forecasts based on historical sales trends, promotional activity and new product introduction
*Analysing order book ensuring accuracy of demand plans
*Working closely with supply chain, sales, customer service and finance teams on NPD, sales activity, and historical trends
*Ensuring accuracy of forecast, and proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve process and performance
*Utilising Oracle and Excel to interrogate and manipulate data

Key Requirements and Preferences:
*The right attitude and aptitude are critical beyond experience
*Previous experience within an Analytical role
*Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
*Business analytics and data management skills/reporting
*Excellent communicator and able to work across multiple disciplines in a collaborative manner
*Able to prioritise workload and work to strict deadlines
