An award winning entertainment company based in Leeds are now recruiting for a Data Warehouse Developer to join their Data & Analytics division. With their global headquarters in the US, and number of offices globally, they’re now looking to capitalise on a record breaking 2018. They're now looking to invest in the Analytics team, to continue their growth in 2019.
The Data Warehouse Developer will be an integral role for the BI team and you will need to have previous experience designing, developing & managing scalable data warehousing & BI solutions using latest Microsoft technologies. In particular, any candidates with Azure experience would be highly desirable, one major project for the Data Warehouse Developer will be to build a cloud based solution.
Key Responsibilities for the Data Warehouse Developer
•Creating Data Warehouse and ETL solutions
•Using Kimball methodology to design dimensional data modules
•Utilizing BI & data visualization tools & technologies to create bespoke reports
•T-SQL development using stored procedures, triggers, functions and queries
Essential skills for the Data Warehouse Developer:
•Experience working on Data Warehouse projects
•Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlick, Pyramid etc.
•Experience with SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
•Experience working with Azure
•SQL Database design and maintenance skills including optimization and trouble-shooting
The salary for the Data Warehouse Developer position is ranging between £40,000 and £50,000 and is variable depending on experience.
