Deliver technical solutions that will meet the businessrequirements of our stakeholders. This will entail analysing developing,testing and deploying the appropriate solution through the developmentlife-cycle.
Produce deliverable's that follow the developmentstandards and principles, on time.
Produce a detailed breakdown of developmenttasks on projects
Adhere to the end to end change process andraise appropriate paperwork in a timelymanner.
Work with and assist the other teams within thedepartment and provide technical & domain input.
Assist with the mentoring of associatedevelopers and colleagues during the project life-cycle.
Comprehensive Cloud migration experience
In depth understanding oflarge scale data, such as data warehouses and their best practice and principlesof managing them
Experience of integration projects onlarge-scale environments
ETL technical design, development and support
Excellent SQL skills and understanding of RDMS, experience with Netezza would be preferable but not essential.
ETL tool-preferably Ab Initio or Informatica butnot essential.
Python, Java or Spark- desirable but notessential.
Demonstrates exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills and has a proven ability to influence technical decisionsin a fast-moving commercial environment.
SOA andservices-based data solutions, would be advantageous.
