About the role of Cyber Security Officer
You will be responsible for implementing our client's Cyber Security strategy, duties will include:
- Ensuring that various systems are fully patched.
- Ensuring that protection systems are up to date, have been configured correctly, and are deployed and functioning as expected.
- Monitoring systems to detect Cyber events and dealing with Cyber threats and issues that arise.
- Performing regular vulnerability assessment of systems.
- Assisting the Cyber Security & Data Protection Manager in running security partner testing programme and completing any actions that arise.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in the role of Cyber Security Officer, you will need a knowledge of current threats and how to protect against them. A familiarity with industry standard cyber security practices is also required. Applicants will need a Cyber Technologist level 4 qualification or equivalent industry experience.
All successful candidates will be required to take an online ability assessment test prior to the interview and may be required to complete a work related test and or presentation at interview.
