POSITION: Customer Services Agent
SALARY: £21k dependent on experience

HOURS: Full time - Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:30

Due to continued success the company is seeking to recruit a Major Accounts Customer Services Agent to be based at the company’s Hounslow branch. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded organisation.
The role will cover up to two major customers, dependent on level of support required. You will be expected to respond to telephone and email queries, produce reports and manage the day-to-day relationship with a single major account customer.
JOB ROLE (not limited to):
•You will be expected to respond to telephone and email queries, produce reports and manage the day-to-day relationship with major account customers. You will also be required to liaise with either our own Skynet agents or a third party provider in the country of delivery. This requires strong English Language skills, both written and spoken. Other responsibilities include the manning of our central email hub and other areas of the Customer Service Department as part of a shared duty roster, along with the provision of work cover for holidays etc.
•The position requires the minimum of two years’ experience in a Customer Service Department. This should include servicing large, single clients, as a well as fielding general queries. Experience in the courier industry is preferred but not essential for the correct candidate.
•Whilst the majority of the work is based with a single customer and their individual needs. You will still be positioned within a team. Embracing adaptability, along with a willingness to support that team will be required.
•Full training will be given, as well as cross-training into other accounts as part of your ongoing development. This allows for a broader knowledge of the department as a whole, as well as exposure to the differing needs and requirements of those individual customers.
•Training will cover the use of our in-house tracking system, the producing of daily reports, the use of third party websites and telephone training.
•Skill assessments and grading will be ongoing and is designed to increase your skills and knowledge base.
•Experience using Word, Excel and Outlook.
•Be highly organised.
•Possess basic Mathematics and good English skills both written and spoken.
•Live within an 8-mile radius.
•A DBS Certificate (formerly known as Disclosure Scotland Certificate), for which the company can assist fully with your application.
•A complete and up to date 5-year work history for security purposes.
