Creating customers for life is in our genes: doing the right thing, no matter how hard and walking away knowing you have made a positive difference is what keeps us going. We are constantly growing and constantly changing and this is sometimes tough, but it does create opportunities and a fast paced, fun and vibrant environment. We need smart and savvy talent from a wide variety of backgrounds to care, help and, to be honest, love our customers. No insurance experience is necessary, our incredible trainers will give you all the knowledge you need to succeed.
Customers mean the world to you and going the extra mile is a given. You believe the great service is the benchmark and beating it and surpassing customer expectations is what gets you out of bed in the morning (that and free coffee(s) and toast we provide)
You will be talking to customers over the phone, bringing your personality to life and making honest connections that inspire, engage and put a smile on both your and your customers’ face. Expect to fight a few fires - you never know what the next call may involve and what enquiry you may need to solve - but you know you can and you know you will and you will take pride from achieving another win for the customer.
We have targets and KPI’s, but who doesn’t right? The heart of our targets is ensuring the customer is looked after, given honest and correct information and their needs are met. This doesn’t faze you though; you would only ever do what is the best for a customer anyway, so you set yourself tougher targets and strive towards them.
Ultimately, you are a champion for customers, so why choose Hiscox – I mean, every company would dream of employing you. Our Glassdoor score makes us one of the top 10 employers in the UK and we achieve this by creating a great environment with brilliant benefits. We understanding you are an individual and will learn what we need to do to ensure you get up on a Monday excited to be part of the team, not dreading the week ahead.
You will be:
Driven – A desire to succeed, but with core values to guide you to the right outcome
A Team Player – Contributing to the success of your peers
Highly Productive – Getting things done with both quality and speed
Resilient – take the knocks, accept responsibility for your actions and able to get back up stronger
A nimble learner – receptive to feedback and always striving to improve
The start date for this role will be 2nd September 2019, with assessment centres early August.
