The marketing department is responsible for all aspects of business development and communications for the firm and consists of 23 members. The department focusses on revenue generation and reputation enhancement. As a department, we consider ourselves to be commercially minded, proactive & creative with a sense of humour - qualities which we would appreciate in a candidate.
Have you got a nose for a news story or hot topic? We are looking for a Corporate Story Teller who can help chase down content ensuring that our communications channels are kept up to date with engaging, innovative and brand building content. You will have superb writing skills, an inquiring nature and bags of energy and understand how to adapt internal and external content for different audiences and channels.
We are not looking for a typical Corporate Communications Manager; perhaps you are a junior journalist looking for an in-house role or have a b2c background – either way we want you to help make our content sing.
You will create informative, compelling and differentiated written marketing communications including thought leadership for our key sectors, internal news stories – both corporate and human interest - making sure they’re relevant and engaging and that they reach the right people.
Cultivate relationships with Business Managers, senior leaders across the firm – including our international offices and business services – and ensuring that all locations and key sectors are represented across our communication channels.
A significant part of the role is to keep the content on our website and intranet up to date. You will also be a passionate social media user repurposing content for these outlets.
Additional skills like managing layouts of images, the creation of one off attention grabbing campaigns will be highly prized.
